Palette

Palette2002

Photographed at Bantham, South Devon, England. The form of Palette is perfected when mirrored by its own reflection. When winds disturb the surrounding sunlit water the white palette acts as a canvas upon which the illusion of moving water is reflected.

"This form evolved after a long time just drawing shapes and curves that somehow became right when seen with reflection, they became balanced and complete".

Naomi Vincent 2002

Palette is made from carved, steambent and laminated oak. The wooden form provides a framework for the white fibreglass palette.
